Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's LGBTQIA2S+ Employee Network & Resource Group invites the community and referring physicians to a day of education, resources and an exchange of valuable knowledge.
On Saturday, November 2, from 8:30 until 2 p.m., join Roswell Park physicians and other experts for a full day of understanding cancer-related issues and concerns among the LGBTQIA2S+ community while increasing awareness and understanding of barriers to care and other challenges that might inhibit access to screening and treatment.
Keynote speaker Scout, PhD, is Executive Director of the National LGBTQI+ Cancer Network and principal investigator of both the CDC-funded LGBTQI+ tobacco-related cancer disparity network and Out: The National Cancer Survey. They will be joined on November 2 by a panelist including Helen Cappuccino, MD, FACS, a Surgical Oncologist from Roswell Park and other local experts.
